Outfits: Acceptable in the 80s

SHIP'S LOG: Here are some photos from a Saturday two weeks ago when A and B went location scouting for a project that fell through. Sad, but at least we got to explore the warehouses of Makati a bit more.

Collective

Instead of a Saturday with Insurance (1000-1200), Labour (1200-0230), and Criminal Procedure (0300-0600) I sniggered at a fancy baking soda and thimble shop, gorged on PhP 150.00 ten-inch bahn mi with barbecue-vinegar sauce and Thai milk tea, bought a Barbour lookalike quilted jacket at Topshop sale, chowed on hot chicken wings and cool blue cheese on radish sticks with Fannie, and went out with the girls (and Vince LOL) pretending we knew the difference between a Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay.

I wish I had photos of our lunch (so cheap, so good), but my battery died. Don't you hate it when that happens? If you like old record sleeves like B, go and check some of the silliest ones we found here.

A wears thrifted boots, cardigan, and dress and a Dooney & Bourke backpack.

  5. I am totally in love with your outfit, I love cute print retro dresses..but my favorite part: the boots! They look super :) And Wabi Sabi is the bomb! I haven't been to The Collective for a long time, I'm glad it's still holding up. I like the concept, but it's usually too warm a place to linger in. =/

  9. Bummer about your battery dying. I once took my camera out & didn't have the battery at all (it was at home on charge). Now that sucked ... :(

Where is this vinyl place and from which store did you take pictures of the clothes on the rack? They seem nice. (:

  29. Oh man...

I grew up in Manilla but it wasn't until I stumbled upon this blog that I've ever had the desire to go back. Now I want to go back and visit...maybe not my old stomping grounds but all the lovely little places you feature on this blog!

and hey u know what , your back pack i have something similar but mine is really old

my mum got it when she went to Indonesia ages ago , she said the bag was older than me haha and she don't allow me to use it much because she say thats one the thing which reminds her of my dad ( since he has left us )

but i am still using it anyway lol so i consider it MINE
