A is for Arianne who loves Arsenal FC, Christie Time mystery novels, practical economics, and ice cream in cups. A is in law school (horrors!) so has license to build up a new wardrobe. Limited budget, of course. A wants a sort of nautical and faded chintz (both structured) look, dare we say, GaMerican?
After spending most of the Christmas holidays watching screwball comedies and Katharine Hepburn toss her fine head of curls, I am looking forward to 2012 by way of 1942 and 1972 as perfectly encapsulated in Karen Walker's spring collection (and she's partnering with Anthropologie as well! MUST BUY.) and Orla Kiely's pre-SS set. As always, style staples from Rachel Antonoff and Madewell with a bit of British ditz via Coco Fennell thrown in.
dude, i got white oxfords a year ago but never wear em ahaha. and i really want me a boyfriend jacket like the gray one you posted here! but my mom won't let me buy one since she says they make me look short :(
